Contact Zones or, Infrastructural Inversions

An ongoing series audio-essays that examine the negotiation of agency within human, animal and technological encounters. Assembled from pre-existing sound materials (news reportage, archival recordings, youtube tutorials) the work listens to interference as an ethico-aesthetic strategy for auditioning the ever increasing entanglement of bodies, technologies and environments.

Keywords: animals, contact zones, interference, inversion, reportage

Installed/broadcast at New River Studios, Resonance FM, Platform A Gallery and IMT Gallery
